  1. Is it normal to have a list of the blogs you follow? Since we’re in this class, I didn’t think it was right to do so. It made it seem like these are great blogs and I will recommend them, when actuality, these are blogs of students who are trying to figure out blogging.

    1. Lisa, I’m sorry I took so long to respond. At first, I thought you were asking the whole class this question. I have chosen to highlight this section on my blog because I am excited about the work my classmates are doing. I work in education and believe student work to be extremely valuable, especially as part of the learning experience. I hope that answers your question.

    2. Interesting question. I think it’s fine. In reality, these are blogs that not a lot of people will see–until you all start publicizing. So while the class lasts, why not? Then if you get more serious later, you can pare the list down just to the ones that are still active and that you want to recommend.

  2. Wow! These photos look amazing! I have lived in Oregon my whole life and I can’t remember a time when I’ve looked around and thought “this place looks beautiful”, I guess that means I need to get out more, and to better looking place around here.

  3. These photos are beautiful. What did you shoot them on? I’ve been really interested in taking up some photography classes. As a blogger, I want to make sure that I have a good eye for photo taking. As well as I mean just look at your photos, Oregon is beautiful and I’d love to capture moments like these.

    1. Lien, thank you! These were taken on a Sony. I have two main cameras, a Sony A3000 and a Sony A330. OF the two, I like the older A330 the most. The A3000 also shoots video and that’s a plus. I often shoot with an old Nikon Cool Pics and with my Kindle Fire and My ASUS Notebook. Most of my photos have little to no editing done on them. I haven’t had much time to process them. The first step for me is in trying to really see the setting. I try different angles and vantage points. I would be happy to take a walk around campus with you when the term is over and show you what I do.
